A fundraising evening of entertainment supporting local suicide prevention efforts & Ptown Artists
Summertime Sadness is a night of music, entertainment, remembrance, and community created to bring Provincetown together around mental health and suicide prevention.
On September 22, local artists and members of our community will take the stage at Red Room for a special evening celebrating the people we love, remembering those we’ve lost, and reminding anyone who may be struggling that they are not alone — all while benefiting a great organization: Sharing Kindness.
Sharing Kindness provides a wide range of programs to reduce suicide risk, support those who struggle, companion the bereaved and nurture health and wellness in our community
Your contribution helps make this night possible. Funds raised will support suicide-prevention efforts on Cape Cod through Sharing Kindness, while also helping support the Provincetown artists participating in the show.
Red Room is generously donating its portion of the evening’s ticket sales to Sharing Kindness. the rest of proceeds raised through the event as well as donations through the end of September will benefit Sharing Kindness.
Whether you give $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can, every contribution matters.
We encourage you to leave a Message of Hope or remembrance, regardless of whether you make a donation. Messages may be shared during the performance and online, with your permission. You may choose to have your name publicly acknowledged or remain completely anonymous.

About The Cast
Host, Performer & Fundraiser Organizer
Shane Cardinal/ Shae Nanigans is a Provincetown-based performer, singer-songwriter, and creative force dedicated to bringing people together through music, storytelling, and community.
With a background in musical theatre and acting, Shane’s performance credits include Puppetry of the Penis, various theatrical and musical productions, the Charmed podcast musical, and his own original works, including his one-man cabaret Cardinal Sins, and original music. His work spans theatre, live music, cabaret, and digital media.
As the Technical Director and Social Media Manager of the Red Room, Shane has spent years working behind the scenes to bring incredible artists and unforgettable performances to life.
Inspired by personal experiences with loss, mental health, and the power of chosen family, Shane organized this fundraiser to turn grief into action and remind others that they are never alone.
Through an evening of music, laughter, remembrance, and hope, Shane hopes to honor those we’ve lost, celebrate those still fighting, and bring the community together in support of Sharing Kindness.
His message is simple: Your story matters. Your life matters. And there is always hope.

Sasha is from Provincetown, but just moved back to the US from Bulgaria. he’s been playing accordion on the street for about 13 years, and it's how he makes a living.

Dana Danzel has been entertaining the public since the early 1990's. Starring in such shows as, Showgirls Inc. A show directed, produced and performed with 3 others in Boston and Boyz R Us, Legends, and recently last 20 years as the Karaoke Queen of the Gov. Bradford if not of all of Provincetown.

Deyan is a Bulgarian singer, guitarist, beatboxer, and singer-songwriter known for soulful vocals and heartfelt live performances. A passionate street performer, he brings warmth, rhythm, and authentic energy to every space he plays, creating memorable moments and connecting with people through music.

Lily Mae Harrington is a different breed of human. She was formulated in a lab off the coast of the North Atlantic by foreign government forces in hopes of creating the “Average American Woman”. She was made from the DNA of Janis Joplin, Mama Cass, the unsinkable Molly Brown, Paul Newman, a few hair follicles from Sheryl Crow, and filler extracted from Dolly Parton. Her fuel consists of breakfast burritos, turkey pepperoni, oyster shells, and full bulbs of fennel. She identifies as a coastal cowgirl though historically has always been thrown off the horse head first. Her debut album “Average American Woman” was released this year!

Deangelo Nieves is Oklahoma-born, Massachusetts-raised DeAngelo plays music. Playing the streets and venues of Ptown over the last 24 years, he is possibly looking for a winter rental in town so hit him up.

The Glowing Goddess of Burlesque!
Lady Maddness is a local Burlesque performer, painter and bartender. She washed ashore in Provincetown 12 years ago to find a world full of queer joy, exuberant self expression and chosen family and has been here ever since.
You can catch her in Helltown Burlesque, Foxy Queer Cabaret and behind the bar at the Crown and Anchor.
Known for her bright neon colors, floor shaking drop splits, tassel twirling and booty shaking, she'll drive you M-A-Double D-MADD!

Whatcha MacCallit is a touring boylesque drag thing based in Provincetown, MA. Mac earned the name Whatcha MacCallit for its one-of-a-kind, handmade looks which defy definition. Also known as the feral "Pup MacPup", he brings DIY punk energy to drag, burlesque, and kink stages across the northeast and beyond.

Yaron Spiwak is an internationally experienced music producer, creative director, pianist, vocalist, and songwriter, as well as a voting member of the Recording Academy.
A former Senior Music Producer and Creative Director for Walt Disney Imagineering, he has created music for Disney attractions, live entertainment, and global productions.
A longtime favorite in Provincetown’s piano-bar scene, Yaron has performed at virtually every piano bar in town and collaborated with artists including Brian Justin Crum, Nina West, Sharon McNight, and Alaska Thunderfuck.
He is known for his dynamic performances, audience sing-alongs, and spontaneous musical collaborations
